Ernest Hemingway had a special love for
vermouth. While recuperating from his wounds during World War I, he would ask friends to smuggle bottles of it into his hospital room. And of course Vermouth found its way into Hemingway’s writing. In a “A Farewell to Arms” the main character, Frederic Henry repeatedly drank vermouth straight up in a tumbler with ice. The Baldoria White Hues Collection is dedicated to Ernest Hemingway.
